Ishinca Valley & Chopicalqui
Urus 18,023 ft   Tocllaraju 19,785 ft   Chopicalqui 20,940 ft

Considered to be the most amazing summits of the Andes, the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca offer unique climbing challenges.

Located in the Ancash region of Peru, about 400 km to the northeast of Lima, the Cordillera Blanca contains more than 300 summits. The high altitude, the steepness of the walls, and the wild beauty of its landscapes make this range one of the most attractive in South America.

We will warm up on Urus and then climb the classic Tocllarraju northwest ridge, both of which are located in the Ishinca Valley. After this initial adventure, we will rest for one night in the town of Huaraz and then we'll move on to LLanganuco valley, where we will climb Chopicalqui.
